PINT AE validation rule for UAE e-invoices
When the invoice currency is not AED and the VAT accounting currency is AED, the invoice must give an exchange rate that converts from the invoice currency to AED.
Add the exchange rate with the invoice currency as the source and AED as the target.
The official wording of this rule is in the PINT AE specification published by OpenPeppol.
Alya Books builds the invoice XML so this holds; the official rule files confirm it on our sample documents.
See this rule in the interactive reference, or pre-check an invoice file.
