PINT AE validation rule for UAE e-invoices
For a UAE seller whose electronic address uses scheme 0235, the legal registration type must be TL (trade licence), EID (Emirates ID), PAS (passport) or CD (cabinet decision).
Set the seller's legal registration type to TL, EID, PAS or CD.
The official wording of this rule is in the PINT AE specification published by OpenPeppol.
Alya Books builds the invoice XML so this holds; the official rule files confirm it on our sample documents.
See this rule in the interactive reference, or pre-check an invoice file.
