What the pre-check does

It reads the XML and shows the document type and number, the seller and buyer, the number of lines and the totals. It then checks that required parts are present, that TRNs and dates are well formed, and that the lines, the VAT breakdown and the totals agree with each other.

It is a quick pre-check with Alya Books's own checks. It is not the official PINT AE validation that an accredited service provider runs on every document, which applies about 300 rules.

Your file stays on your computer

The file is read by your browser. It is not uploaded, stored or sent to us.

The full check

Alya Books validates every invoice against the UAE rules before it is submitted and tells you what to fix, in plain language. Each rule is explained in the rule reference.

Common questions

Which files can I check?
A UBL 2.1 Invoice or CreditNote in XML, such as a PINT AE e-invoice. PDF files cannot be checked.
Does passing mean the invoice will be accepted?
No. Passing means this pre-check found no problem. Acceptance depends on the full PINT AE validation by the service provider.
Is my invoice uploaded?
No. The check runs in your browser and the file does not leave your computer.
