    Why Alya Books exists

    Alya Books grew out of a simple observation.

    1. 2025

      The mandate is announced.

      Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 set the UAE on the path to structured e-invoicing through accredited service providers, with the first go-live on 1 January 2027. Most accounting tools in the market produce PDFs, not PINT AE.

    2. 2026

      The gap is clear.

      Businesses need one place that creates the right document, talks to an ASP, receives supplier invoices, feeds the VAT return and connects to the systems they already use. In English and Arabic. Alya Books is built to be that place, modelled on what mature e-invoicing platforms do elsewhere.

    3. 2027

      Go-live, together.

      From the pilot through Phase 1 and Phase 2, Alya Books grows with the mandate: connectors, payments, bank feeds and an API and MCP server so nobody has to retype an invoice again.
