    Trade licence details

Record your legal form, licence number and licensing authority. Every e-invoice needs the licence number and authority.

PINT AE requires your trade licence number and the authority that issued it on every invoice. Without them validation stops with IBR-150-AE (licence number missing) or IBR-172-AE (licensing authority missing).

    Steps

    1. Go to Settings → Company profile.
    2. In the Organization Details card, enter the Trade License Number as printed on your licence, for example CN-1234567.
    3. Click Save Changes at the top of the page.
    4. Scroll to the Company Profile card and choose:
      • Legal Form: LLC, Sole Establishment, FZE, FZCO / FZ-LLC, branch, PJSC and others.
      • Licensing Authority: the department that issued the licence, such as Dubai DET, ADDED or SEDD, or a free zone authority like DMCC, JAFZA, DIFC, ADGM, RAKEZ, IFZA or Meydan.
      • Authorised Signatory and P.O. Box.
    5. Click Save Company Profile. This card saves separately from the rest of the page.

    Fix it from the invoice

If the licence data is missing, the validation report shows Fix now → on IBR-150-AE or IBR-172-AE. It opens the Company details panel inside the editor with the licence number field or an authority picker. Saving there updates your settings and runs the check again.

    Good to know

    • A licence number you entered during onboarding is also used if the Settings field is empty.
    • Other as licensing authority does not satisfy the check. Pick the authority from the list.
    • Free zone companies choose their free zone as the licensing authority. The legal form is still FZE or FZCO.
    • Only owners and admins can change these fields. Accountants, approvers and viewers see them read-only.
