Complete the onboarding wizard
Create your organization, choose industry and size, and finish the checklist that makes your account ready for e-invoicing.
The wizard runs once, right after you open the verification link. It collects the company facts that every UAE tax invoice needs, so you can issue documents without returning to Settings first.
Steps
The stepper at the top shows Welcome, Start & Trial, Company Data and Next Steps.
- Start & Trial: enter your first and last name and your company name. Under "I am setting up Alya Books for" choose My own business or Clients of my accounting or audit firm (this creates a CA-firm organization with Managed Clients). Click Create account. You become the owner of the new organization and your 30-day trial starts.
- Company Data: pick an industry tile and a company-size tile, then Next. You can also Skip this step.
- Next Steps: a checklist with four items. Click each to open it.
- Complete company data (required): page 1 asks for legal form, company name, Arabic name, licence number and licensing authority; page 2 for authorised signatory, phone, street, city, emirate and P.O. Box. Missing mandatory fields are marked "Mandatory field".
- Fill in mandatory e-invoicing data (required): choose whether you are registered for VAT. If yes, enter your 15-digit TRN; the Peppol ID is suggested from it as
0235:<TIN>, the TIN being the first 10 digits of the TRN. Click Save tax data, then enter account holder, IBAN, bank and SWIFT and click Save bank details. - Set your position: choose the tile that best describes your role.
- Upload logo: PNG, JPEG, SVG or WebP. It appears on your PDFs.
- Click Explore Alya Books now. It is enabled once both required items are done. The dashboard opens with the First steps modal, from which you can start a short guided tour.
Good to know
- Everything you enter here is editable later under Settings → Profile, Bank Details and E-invoicing.
- If you are not VAT registered, your documents are titled "Invoice" instead of "Tax Invoice".
- The e-invoicing connection starts in Test (simulated) mode. Nothing reaches the FTA until you switch to Live.
- Users of organizations created before the wizard existed are never sent to it.
