    Product bundles

Sell several items as one package: add a bundle to an invoice as separate lines or as a single line with a fixed price.

A bundle is a catalogue entry made of other items, such as "Website package: design, hosting, 5 hours support". In the editor you pick it like a product; depending on its settings it becomes one line per component or a single line.

    Create a bundle

    1. Go to Items and open the Bundles tab, then click New bundle.
    2. Enter the Name (and Arabic name), optionally an SKU, unit, currency and description.
    3. Under Components, choose an item from the dropdown, click the plus button and set the quantity. Repeat for each component. The components total is shown underneath.
    4. Decide how the bundle is invoiced:
      • Split into one invoice line per component on: each item becomes its own line with its own VAT category, priced through the customer's price lists.
      • Off: the invoice shows one line with the bundle name. Choose the VAT category, rate and HS code for that line.
    5. Bundle price: Sum of component prices or Fixed price (net).
    6. Click Save bundle.

Use a bundle on a document

    1. In the invoice, quote, order confirmation or recurring invoice editor, click the product icon on a line.
    2. Bundles are listed under Bundles at the bottom of the picker with their price and number of items.
    3. Pick one. The line's quantity multiplies the component quantities (2 packages of "3 × Widget" gives 6 Widgets).

    Good to know

    • Splitting keeps VAT correct when a package mixes standard-rated and zero-rated items and lets the buyer see the parts.
    • A single-line bundle at a fixed price is convenient for flat-fee packages; the description of the bundle is not printed automatically, add it to the line description if the customer should see the components.
    • Inactive bundles disappear from the picker but stay in the list. Deleting a bundle never deletes its items.
    • Owners, admins and accountants manage bundles. Integrations can expand a bundle into invoice lines through the API.
